When the microwave is on I hear interference on my bluetooth headset when standing nearby.
Should I be worried?

Microwaves are the most benign looking mind control devices in the modern world
I sometimes feel like my microwave is communicating and trying to put thoughts in my head wtf

If it can cook food, then it can cook your brain.

microwaves are around 2.4GHz which is wifi/bluetooth territory. old sysadmin issue with wifi going bad at lunchtime

Radiation from microwaves is non-ionizing. The damage they cause is just from heating shit up. If you aren't feeling feverish or getting burns near the thing, you're fine (or put simply, you would definitely notice if you were in danger...albeit since microwaves cook shit all the way through instead of from the outside in, if you were in danger, you would need to react quickly). Some microwaves can leak enough to interfere with some wifi, but they aren't going to hurt you.
Unless you disassemble them. Never fucking do that if you don't know what you're doing. The internals of a microwave can carry a spooky amount of charge even when unplugged.
It's not like they're cell phones. Kidding. We don't know if cell phones fry your brain. Course we don't know that they don't either. Not kidding.

False. To have this belief today is like being a caveman looking at a skyscraper. Grug cook! Ugga bugga

>Microwaves are non-ionizing radiation, so they do not have the same risks as x-rays or other types of ionizing radiation. But, microwave radiation can heat body tissues the same way it heats food. Exposure to high levels of microwaves can cause skin burns or cataracts.

They also scatter off your skin surface unless they're pulsed and create solitons, brillouinn precursors, or other shockwaves which propagate more deeply. IR stimulation can make water generate THz radiation in some controlled scenarios.

radiation from micrwave rarely excapes the oven, if you are several meters away there will be no interference for a blue tooth

retard. Microwave is em, and like any other em wave, it's penetrating power decreases exponentially in the material. This means usually the first few outside layers of the material is heated while the central core is still cool (aka skin effect)

Microwaves are shielded. That's why apple outside of microwave doesn't get hot but apple inside microwave gets hot. No shielding is perfect. It leaks some noise that interferes with your Bluetooth headphones. You have to remember whenever you go outside you get blasted with emf from the sun but are fine but if you go into a oven you die. Why is this? Because it depends on the amount of energy you get blasted with.

As opposed to conduction which propagates from the outside in.
Also, technically microwaves do cook shit all the way through, there's just drop off.
