Why couldnt they create a better numerical system?

We don't fix technical debt in mathematics. We build upon it.

Because Anglos are superior, simple as.

What do you mean? Arithmetic with and the font for 0123456789 itself was invented by Fibonacci.

And what makes 6 "perfect" ?

Anonymous No. 16092211

>>16092208
It’s factors when multiplicatively AND additively combine makes a perfect number

Sure but it's still a super low stack, big numbers would have 40% more lenght
Million would be 1400000 etc.
10 x 100000 vs 6 x 166666,66 and the numbers would just get larger and larger
60 would seem more "perfect" but then again it's divisible by 6 so 10 seems to be the best

There isn't one aesthetically because it's based on human perception. Europeans did come with the best one for universal computation; Leibniz's system, later operators perfected by Boole.

Computation is suited to machines, and not humans. For small numbers Roman numerals are the most aesthetic pleasing and that's why we still use them to this day. The only value in the decimal system then is to grasp very large numbers and for this Archimedes' initial idea and the notation by Hume (which basically leads to scientific notation) is the best.

Roman numerals only went up to 1000
500 (D) and 50 (L) are kinda useless but i could see the benefits of using it to some degree like let's say million (lets call it M for now) and then using the numbers like:
M 24 = 1 000 024
Or
3B 14M 6284 = 3 014 006 284

But all it would do is to just erase _some_ zeroes so idk (and also billion is milliard in many languages so it would be used as M and Mi. in those.)

LMAO. Base 10 is the Roman way and therefore superior.

Fun fact: The earliest form of integer division know to mankind is still in use in modern processors since is based on doubling and halving.

The thing is when do I ever need to see numbers bigger than 3 digits? As soon as we get to that point software should be doing it.

Humans should only be looking at simulation results, or other figures with scientific notation. Then you need say 3 sig figs and exponential terms that's it.
