Can someone please explain how to properly blueprint a prototype?
I have a billion dollar idea but no clue how to go about it. It’s a piece of heavy equipment similar to an excavator so much of the design can be copied.

build a small model and then compare its efficiency to small models of competing equipment

How much money are you going to give me to help you?

One million fren.
I’m going to need quite a few robotics programmers and a few construction consultants, but I might be able to get companies to send consultants, especially if they plan on using this technology.

Yes, but how do I make the first design for the small version?
I have a very clear vision of the first iteration, I just don’t know what the best way to design it is.
Should I do a digital mockup in cad? Do I make an actual print with multiple pages and specs?
I want to find investors so any idea what they are going to want to see other than a small version and a small presentation about it?

you test the core idea. there must be some semblance of a core idea. I hope you are not envisioning a machine that does 10 things different from the most similar competing model. that indicates some mental disorder (in most cases).

All of the technology already exists, it’s just applying it differently and combining different proven concepts into a revolutionary machine and cracking an entire industry (construction)

To blueprint? Like, really blueprint or make a 3d model?
Regardless, answer is AutoCAD.
