How do you get a job in the PNW as a new-grad EE from a T20 with a 3.71 GPA interested in DSP? Coverlettermaxxing? I have no job experience prior to last summer because I took summer classes my first 2 summers... which seems like the kiss of death...
The generic entry-level EE job which I would be fine with demands AutoCAD experience... which I'm not sure my undergrad even offers hahaha...

no one reads cover letters anymore, although i can't bring myself not to write them.
turns out making applications easy to submit over the internet is a double edged sword, and now every position gets 9000 applications.
try to get someone to actually meet with you. knowing people is 80% of getting a job these days.

/sci/ is a board for shitting on math and science. it's where math and science goes to die because of the shit moderation that lets /pol/ fester here.
