It would be nice to have a wireless mouse you only need to wind instead having to buy batteries, even if that means going back to the ball design to save energy.

there's wireless charging mouse pads, for many years now. works with wireless Logitech mice (some of them, but quite a few). like never ever have to ever think about mouse power.
