Why is social science so terrible? Its like all social institutions is blowing up and these "scientists" can't and isn't trying to fix it. How'd the field be about moralizing and stamp collection without producing much of any engineering? The discourse on problems is now about worshippers of a rotting leviathan and cargo cultists.

You'd think graduates should at minimum run an effective cult, the well known interlocking structure of doing arbitrary work with people.

Do people really believe they'd produce the vernor blight or the wizards wouldn't figure out how it all works and take power?

Or it is just wordcel cancer?
