why is northern india the same color as the arctic? what did they mean by this? himalaya? is it really the same climate just because it's a mountain?

Its tibet, average height +4km. It's very cold and almost nothing grows, similar to the antarctic, but without the permanent ice. Same for the altiplano.

This one is inaccurate because it used -3C as the cut off for Continental (cold winter) and Oceanic (mild winter). This means Poland has the same climate as Ireland, but winters are noticeably colder in Poland than they are in Ireland, where temperatures rarely go below 0C in winter
It is therefore better to use 0C as the cut off, and now the climate differences are better represented, which is what my Koppen map shows
