to be fair not all of the us is like a little elite enclave that an eclipse happens to pass through this year.
it would be like if/when an eclipse passes through broward county. crazy fucked up little area is responsible for huge share of major news cycle shit. basically a hollywood for glowies. there's only a few power centers like that in the entire united states.
