Is all mental 'pain' truthfully the effect of fear? Which is more consciousness and not simulation, and thus is not pain. However, fear is in the same league as pain, and is to be taken seriously. It would be classed as the mental type of negative energy.

Ah, yes, I cured my schizophrenia with a healing crystal. Turns out, all I needed was a little bit of geological therapy to balance out my brain chemistry. Who needs psychiatrists when you've got rocks, right? I guess I'll just chuck my medication and start collecting crystals instead. They're cheaper anyway, and they look prettier on my bedside table.

All suffering is due to reification of the self. The idea that there's a central core which everything must revolve around from the conscious standpoint means anything that happens now must globally happen across the body. When the consciousness system sees the limbs being cut off as a limbs of a reified/centralized self being cut off, the pain is sent in shockwaves across the entire body.

The worst pain is not the effect of fear but the feeling to miss something.
In my case, that is sleep currently.
