🧵 Learning for a retard

Anonymous No. 16108314

I dropped out of highschool and now I want to learn again

I plan to study math, chemistry, biology and physics

How do I do this?

try khan academy and youtube to see if you get filtered. if you make it, next step is a local community college. after that the only filter is whether or not you can figure out the rest on your own.

>next step is a local community college
That should probably be the first step. Contact your local community college start working on your GED.

After that worry about studying whatever you want.

go back to school and get your GED and then realize you hate learning and then get a job as a welder

if you have to ask where to start, its not for you homie

College makes sense only if the goal is getting a degree, and not just learning. On top of that getting a degree is a weak instrumental goal to make money, and a lame end goal.

I'm also a retarded drop out self studying.
Professor Leonard on Youtube, start with the prealgebra playlist. I practice with wolfram alpha problem generator.

literally any degree is better than no degree in terms of employment value because it shows your employers that you have a modicum of executive functioning

this, also in terms of interest; I was taking some coding and genetics classes while taking a vocational course and after some testing I found myself with an AS in addition to my cert after a couple semesters back in 2019, avoid hybrid or online classes though, waste of time.

I dropped out of HS, got a ged at 19, and started CC at 20. I'm 21 now and studying for an associates degree in engineering science.

Nice comeback anon, keep going. I had a very similar path. Doing a phd in physics now.

Find a goal, achieve it.
Best way. Don't bother with the faggy academic "structured way" it's all bullshit nonsense

What makes you think you can? Were you at least top of your class while you were there?

Lurk on 4chan and gather a bunch of textbooks that sound interesting to you then read through them in a structured manner (take notes, do the exercises, ask questions (in /sqt/, on stackexchange, etc.), make flash cards and so on)
