how is it biomechanically possible to jump like this? with that much weight in his hands, shouldn't his knees be getting all messed up?

It's explosive strength, and it's all thanks to the leg muscles. That person must have a good squat and trains jumps a lot.

Why do so many people think knees are made of glass? Anyone video about running or squats inevitably gets someone saying they're going to blow their knees out. Is it just fat people who think knees are made of glass?

I'd break all bones in my feet when landing after a jump with so much weight.

This has always made me curious though? How did Tom Brady do it? I kinda get he wasn’t pushing his whole body to the peak the way wide receivers, tight ends and linemen do, and he had a very restrictive diet, but still…

Repetitive stress injury. Imagine clicking a mouse rapidly every day for 8 hours. Now imagine instead you apply that same stress to your knees but over a 30 minute time span all localized to time segments of mega clicks. Are you guaranteed to fuck your fingers and wrist from clicking? No. But it does significantly increase your risk

Because they never bothered to train their flexibility. They have weak side muscles that are not trained when lifting weights, so every time they flex their knees, they hear cracking sounds because the joint is imbalance and not moving properly
Yoga like exercises and calisthenics are superior to just lifting weights

Sure? A colleague of mine wasa gymnast and told me most quit when they are 18, few go beyond 19. The body is usually worn out by then and most have never been serious competitors.
