🧵 What the fuck is this thing
Anonymous at Wed, 3 Apr 2024 21:44:24 UTC No. 16111175
What the FUCK is a colliding tori fusion reactor (CTFR) and why did wikipedia censor it? The wikimedia foundation deleted it off the internet and it's almost impossible to find any information on it. Is this crackpot shit or a solution to our energy crisis?

Quite possibly.

it's certainly very strange that it doesn't show up in any public logs i can find - no moves, merges, or deletions... yet there it is on archive.org

I don't know but they have serious reasons to hide it.

Uhhhh, maybe? I'm not sure. They may have
changed the name?
Also it's what they call an "office action" which is like a super-purge

Looks like they hid it from the public logs. Only admins can see that it ever even existed, and even they have limited info.

Looks like some guy made a page for whatever this thing is, and it caught some hardcore attention. You can read the DMCA here

that's not what i'd call hardcore attention. that's what i'd call some WMF person getting a DMCA for an image and going absolutely apeshit on the entire article

judging by figure 1 in the second link from >>16111336 (also me) ...
yes, that's literally all this is.
IMO, it's likely either a patent that Helion bought (possibly from TAE), or something Helion copied from TAE that wasn't patented at all
it's not some super secret special thing. the wikipedia article was probably deleted and hidden from public logs because it was just a stub with a high-visibility copyright violating image. hell, it might literally just have been a spam filter WMF used at some point to keep the logs from clogging up with stub deletions.
