Why the fuck was this eclipse memed out of proportion by everyone in the media? I get it, it's nice, but It's just a fucking eclipse, yet again, isn't it? Are we being bamboozled into oblivion once again?

Its American stupidity in it's purest form.
Why won't Putin pull the trigger already

Anonymous No. 16120198

Because it's the last one of the season and it will take two decades for another American eclipse. Last eclipse for boomers.

The "OMG MUH SOIYENCE" meme is a brainwashing tactic used to separate a formerly Christian nation from it's tradition belief system in order to get them to accept government controlled and funded academics as their new class intellectual authorities.

Not only that, but in this eclipse 10% of the population was in totality and almost all of the US could at least see a partial eclipse with glasses.

maybe the media was just thrilled to cover a story that isn't about politics?
I mean how often do they get this something like this?

First off dumbasses, an eclipse is very rare in the USA? Look it up. Especially a total eclipse, you sound like those dumbasses who think it sucks because they've never seen the total eclipse and only the partial with glasses. Whens the last time this shit hit my state? 99 years. Where is your soul? Where is your curiosity,

I thought it was neat, but I haven't watched a single bit of news coverage to see what OP is going on about. I did see a lot of Florida people driving in with NASA though

If you want to see eclipses that badly, you can always chase them. But I get it, I understand that moving your asses is like torture for Americans, you are used to getting everything served on a silver platter.

>>16120394
OP here, I'm not from murica, I'm quite far from it, but I follow some soiynce youtubers, and all of them are talking about it as if it's a great deal, even though many of them are far from it too. They don't talk like this for other eclipses in "muh less important" places. But on top of that, even on television in my country, everyone is talking about the eclipse that American boomers get to enjoy 15000km from where I am, as if this is something everyone in the world must know to get through their day.

Everything seems too forced and inorganic, like an obvious crafted distraction to make mutts look "more humane." For comparison, local media here barely mentioned the recent Baltimore bridge crash and collapse, or the Ohio toxic train derailment, I guess those make mutts look like retarded beasts, even though the former was jeets fault.

I find it like a sort of emotional and spiritual abuse. imagine the poor suckers thinking they go to heaven during the eclipse. the letdown must be shit.

It was one of the longest total eclipses in recorded history. Of course people are going to make a big deal out of a record-breaking phenomenon.

The same thing happened in the US.
