Why is it that if I sleep for 14 hours a day for a week, then I try to stay awake for as long as I can i get really tired after only about 30 hours or so ? Instead of being able to stay awake easily for like six days or whatever
As in, why isn't sleep cumulative beyond a certain point ?
Seems like even if I slept for a year straight I still would only be able to stay awake for 3 days afterwards instead of like 3 months

I always tell my car mechanic to add an extra repair on top so it cancels out next time my car breaks down.

Yes, i see that at some point it doesn't make sense. You can't obviously do all your life's sleeping in one go and not sleep again until you die. But I just mean why is it so short ? I don't want to sleep 8 hours every day. It's gay. I want to do like a weeks worth of sleep in one go

Is that what you tell yourself when you waste entire day?

You can store sleep deposits in fat cells.
