Speaking scientifically, how to I completely genocide bedbugs from my house. I already have diatomaceous earth and yeast based CO2 traps up. Do I need to synthesize DDT in my basement? Can I make/buy their pheromones?
I don't want a single one left alive. Absolute total bedbug death. Bonus points if their death is painful.

You should probably let professional take care of it.

change sheets every week, wash then refridgerate old sheets. do the same with clothes you sleep in. Over time population will reduce.

Would it be necessary to change the bedframe to one made out of wood?

I don't have weeks. I think I'm litterally going insane. I'm covered in bites but I've searched the room and traps and haven't found a single one anywhere. Im walking around like walter white in a clean suit and gloves from home depot and I can't find anything.

Don't conventional poisons work on them? Permethrin and similar are safe for skin contact but hitting your sheets, mattress, room etc should kill them, I'm sure most species are affected by it though I've never tried them on bedbugs.

I hate being around poisons. My bed already has a wooden frame but I wondered if it would need to be more painful. Think in terms of sleeping on a pad.

The science has shown that bedbugs are good for your houses biodiversity.

Apparently they're resistant to most pesticides other than ddt.

So how do I get this DDT?

DDT is one of the more dangerous pesticides for direct contact, but for adult males it is still far safer than being exposed to biting insects. Assuming only DDT works, that is.

Yeah well those tiny shards of glass aren't any better. I'm barely used one puff and stopped as my throat and nose immediately flared up even with a mask. I am sure they'll find out in a few years it causes heart disease and other autoimmune shit, and you can never get it out.
