How can you be sure that the scientific theories you learn in college are true when you haven't replicated their experiments yourself?
You're simply believing what your professor teaches you is true.

true. The answer is pure faith, including the faith that some other people are doing the experiments and reporting. This is why theres so many reports about fake science, the lies get discovered eventually.
Many classical physics experiments get casually redone all the time.
