A great book that can be used as an introduction to Category Theory without any background in pure math
Another one I really like is Godel, Escher and Bach.
Any other suggestions? Summer break is coming up

No it can't be used for anything useful. You couldn't even solve a single exercise from MacLane or Borceaux.

Of course. You are supposed to build up from here on. It's an introductory read

Read an actual math book instead of wasting your time with popsci garbage

okay man relax. suggest me a good math book then. university level. Done with school, I'm in the second year of my college.
We're starting with group theory next month and I have tried to read the textbook, don't understand a thing

Lang and Isaacs

no shit, you got tricked into reading some popsci cashgrab on cat theory out of all things despite knowing fuck all about elementary algebra. There's no reason at all to learn cat theory if you can't apply it. Even Lawvere's meme book would've been better for "getting the gist". Get to algebraic topology first
