>Learn new math concepts
>Show a bunch of strangers about it who never touched mathematics
>WOWZERS YOU KNOW THIS YOU MUST BE A 1 GAZILLION IQ GENIUS!!!!

Math is just following a bunch of rules and doing a practice problems, how exactly does it require a high IQ? If you can learn and understand something then you're smart enough to do math.

yeah, I agree, math isn't as hard as people make it out to be, they don't even try to study it lol

Calculation isn't thinking; that's why some idiot savants can do calculus in their head but can't wipe their own ass or whatever and why Hikaru Nakamura, the ~number 2 chess player in the world, has an IQ of like 105.

My issue with attempting to learn algebra is I have no way to apply it. Code and languages don't present this issue but bare math does.

Also the way my college teaches it (Pearson online garbage) is shit.

I happened upon this guy's website yesterday so I can't recommend based on my own experience actually reading it but it looked interesting to me.

If you want to apply algebra or math in general then look into (algebraic) number theory for cryptography; analysis, measure, probability and statistics for you guessed it statistics and data science (topology also has uses in data analysis afaik, called topological data analysis); (partial?) differential equations for I think stuff like modelling complex dynamical systems; graph theory (and combinatorics) for algorithms and CS-related stuff.
Logic and model checking for formal verification of systems.

I probably missed a ton.

Looks like OP is lacking the IQ to understand this rule.

>NOO, NOT THIS RULE, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO FIND THE RULE I INTENDED
shut the fuck up dimwit, your shitty tests suck, you aren't 300IQ so you cannot make a good test, FUCK OFF
