Hey nerds, tell me about how the stress of too much studying is affecting your mental health.

There isn't much stress if you understand how to study correctly.
If you can't study prior to a test to get a good grade, then you need to re-think which degree you're getting.

It makes me anxious knowing my only way to maintain the quality of life my parents give/gave me is by graduating. Otherwise I will be living 4 to a 2 bedroom in the ghetto part of town.

I know some people who had to study all the time, but they likely shouldn't have been in that tough of a field to begin with.
Don't get me wrong, I studied a lot. But I had a better system than most, like creating a few test questions after each class that I could then study from ahead of an exam.
Studying in small increments before/after class, instead of trying to cram the night before an exam, etc.

Its literally nothing compared to the stress of working for 50 years and be awarded with disease, fraility and senility. Literally work not to die but you die anyway. It must suck for those who work and study at the same time.

Between sleep depravation of working night shifts and being a full time student in a summer semester I started hallucinating integrals, trig substitutions, and such while awake they didn't make sense and blacked out my vision. It's like my train of thought stopped being my own and I drifted off into solving some nonsense problem that didn't make sense.

i wouldnt call it stress but the constant reminders of my intellectual inferiorities is extremely depressing and emasculating.
