You can move it to the other side of the equation if you like and treat it as part of T_{\mu\nu}. Then it's just an energy density with negative pressure.

but it's on the left side. it's an integration constant which affects the curvature of spacetime, it's not an energy

It's just a matter of interpretation. You are allowed to put it on the right hand side and conversely any diagonal part of T_{\mu\nu} can be moved to the left hand side if you want.
