๐งต What does the double slit experiment prove?

Not skeptical. Just wondering.
In my eyes it proves these two things
>"something" is observing
>reality can change its laws based off that observation

It proves nothing of that sort

It proves light has wave properties and all laws that work on regular waves work on light waves
Then that hypothesis ends up being wrong when they try to derive the Radiance function of a black body, and its discovered that light's energy is quantized (in discrete chunks)
So I don't really get what you mean by
>reality can change its laws based off that observation

If you observe the particles they go through only one slit but if you don't observe them they go through both

>If you observe
as in interact with? and you're wondering why they change their behavior?

Its just if you record them. There's nothing inherent about recording them that should change their behavior and no one has proven how it changes their behavior. I dont think you understand the experiment.

how would you manage to do that?

here's recorded interference pattern. why didn't it change its behavior?

what do you suppose a camera is anon?

The variation of the experiment op is talking about is the one where individual photons are detected passing thorough the slits. That image is just the interference pattern of a laser beam. Also you're retarded

>>16148979
how do you detect individual photons by not interacting with them totally-not-retarded anon?

Then why tf did you ask me how they recorded the photons you faggot

Look guys this person is a genius and solved the double slit experiment. It was the damn cameras the whole time. Someone give this guy a nobel prize.

just pointing out that you interacting with them changes their behavior. wow such crazy idea amirite

Yeah but that's not what changes their behavior

Proves the wave-particle duality of photons and matter, such as e.g. electrons and even molecules.

if this is what you mean, then no, it still shows an interference pattern or is completely random at small time intervals as show in this video
if this isnt what you mean, please list a demonstration of the experiment and how they go through only one slit
