How is "sociology" science if you have multiple variables per experiment? If you don't isolate one variable, what are you even testing? What is going on? Did I have a stroke?

Sociology is cargo cult science. They claim to be scientific because they abuse statistical methods without understanding the math behind these methods and without questioning the applicability of these methods. The conclusions drawn are largely arbitrary. The design of their "studies" is heavily biased.

You can tests many variables at the same time, however you need a lot more data gathering. Its like mapping some space, with two variables (X1,X2) you measure the effects at each point in a plane rather than on a straight line.
Sociology isnt science not even sociologists say that. Max Weber solemnly called for sociology to become open political activism already in the late 19th century, when it was too clear it would never be a physics of society
