What does it mean to "be logical"? It is possible within a logical calculus to define contradictions and they may appear as a result in logical deductions.

Contradiction and the ensuing logical explosion is necessary to form a comprehensive logical system large enough to account for enough possible sets of truths to represent any real system.
For instance, Arithmetic Logic would not be possible without an axiomatic origin value that turns out to be its own opposite value ala 0=-0.
