Like let’s say millions of kids go and study electrical engineering, but only a few of them have insane ideas like Jensen Huang who created nvidia. What exactly does it take to create something meaningful that the world hasn’t seen before. Do you have to be born with a high IQ? Sign a pact with the devil? Be not human?

A combination of luck, skill, and will. In all honesty any innovation in the modern west is unlikely. It is a very hostile environment for that. Those with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo have no reason to permit disruption and they have the means to crush you effortlessly. You would have to be adopted by them like Elon was.
