There are no sea centipedes so how come there are land centipedes?
Is it possible that ONLY TWO arthropod groups arrived on land, 440 million years ago?
440 million years ago
group 1: sea scorpion
-while sea scorpiones eventually all went extinct on the sea during hundred million years, their land relatives survived
-their offspringe are land scorpions, mites, spiders, dust mites, harvestmen
440 million years ago
group 2: pill bug like crustacean related to shrimp
-evolves into centipedes
-evolves into velvet worms (velvet worms further evolve into insects but their ancestral form didnt disappear)
-first insect is silverfish, looks a lot like pillbug in a way
-does not evolve into land crustaceans
150 million years ago, so it is recent attempt!
another group of crustaceans, a long lineage of lobsters make a landing
-they evolve into freshwater crabs
-they evolve into coconut crab (completely terrestrial and has lungs)
compared to vertebrates, arthropods landed twice or even three times, all from different groups of arthropods
the original sea ancestor of sea scorpions and crustaceans lived 1 billion years ago and was a worm, this means the two arthropod groups have had unimaginable amount of time passed after they split

Contrary to popular belief, they have no legs, their leg end is actually part of the world, in negative effect. Some may say the human legs are actually the world being competitive for your soul.

No scientist has confirmed that this happened.
Actually major scientist viewpoint is this:
-There was a sea centipede 440 million years ago
-Its descendants are now on land, evolved into centipedes and the sea centipede itself is extinct
My own theory was a bit different
