🗑️ 🧵 How are there so many Chinese valedictorians?

For the past few years my school district has only had nearly all Chinese valedictorians.

I had one on them in my computer science class where we learned Java, and he wasn’t particularly intelligent. He genuinely did not now how to actually code, so I have no idea how he ended as a valedictorian. It all seems a bit sus.
