There are dietary choices which will lead to reduced IQ, for example a vegan diet will cause a roughly 10% loss of IQ.

I'm fairly confident you could increase your score from an IQ test by learning boolean algebra thoroughly. I'd love to test that hunch.

You IQ will vary by two standard deviations depending on whether you take the test before or after lunch.

Playing Tetris for an hour a day a week before an IQ test will increase your IQ by three standard deviations, on average.

And there's a great number of other factors that can greatly affect it, including simply repeatedly taking IQ tests, which is why the are only valid annually, and really don't mean much save for detecting specific learning disabilities or when averaged out across a large sampling.

So this grifter is either talking about something other than IQ test scores, or he's a moron.

Might be true for mena's RPMs where half of the questions are an Xor, but for crystallized IQ measures probably not because how could it?

The number one way to increase your IQ is to practice taking a lot of IQ tests.
Obsessively.
And then get tested.
If you can't check your answers, this process may take a long time.

He is just assuming that by "increasing IQ", he is referring to a baseline IQ, not something like getting sleep after being sleep deprived to change IQ within your limitied potential.

There is a part of the brain that works similar to an autoencoder. Your IQ and "analytical thinking" increases when you damage it. As, you get exposed to the raw inputs, you lose the automatic labelling, and so on.

The labes are the reason why high IQ people can't learn to speak normally. A normal person likely learns to speak by matchong the labels that they hear in speech with the labels that observe in the world, but high IQ people can only speculate what the words actually mean. This is likely why the damage is so crucial to get it destroyed early, as the children who learn to speak with it get deemed dumb.

Another thing is the obsession with random stuff, as high IQ people have trouble determining what matters.

Another is the seemingly paradoxical inability to identify bullshit, as there is no "this doesn't fit the world as I know it" feeling when the autoencoder fails to filter the claim.

And another, but likely not last one, is the inability to think at all, requiring some kind of anchor to start thinking from, or even large scale explicit education concerning what other people can plainly see.

Instead of boosting IQ try to get more out of what you have.
