Why do black women have the highest obesity rates in the United States? How can science solve this public health issue?

Obvious bait, but I don't care I'll bump the thread.
>Non-Hispanic Black adults (49.9%) had the highest age-adjusted prevalence of obesity, followed by Hispanic adults (45.6%), non-Hispanic White adults (41.4%) and non-Hispanic Asian adults (16.1%).

As I said, no point telling you that. Did you really think I didn't anticipate your exact reply? Lol.

>Why do black women have the highest obesity rates in the United States?
Because calories are cheap. The industrialization of agriculture has lead to a huge drop in the price of agricultural commodities. Grains and the products derived from them, sugars, potatoes, and other carbs are dirt-cheap nowadays, so people are always stuffing themselves with them. The price of meat also dropped along the decades. No one could afford steaks and burgers before industrialization, those were occasional treats. Now, carb-based snacks everywhere, sugary drinks everywhere, fast-food joints everywhere. People would rather eat "chips" and drink sodas instead of eating a piece of fruit. Go figure.
