Could dolphins, elephants and whales develop human like consciousness and intelligence? if scientists perform experiments on their brains and implant microchips inside it.

Dolphins and orcas are most likely on par with human intelligence. Orcas are already systematically attacking boats in the Gibraltar

what sort of time period and intelligence are we talking about?
>during the next 50 years (aka not millions of years)
>intelligence level of a high school student
not a chance
most africans aren't even able to comprehend basic abstract concepts such as time and space, why would elephants and dolphins do?
Abstract concepts likely needs to be embedded in the language at an early stage of the brain development (age 0-4?) for the being to fully grasp them. How do you teach dolphins basic math if they have no way to say 1+4? How do u discuss modern art with an elephant if it doesn't know the difference between 2d and 3d? How do u develop their way of communication do insert these abstract levels of understanding the environment around you?
>microchips?
AI needs to be more advanced than us and at that point why would we/it waste energy/time/resources to experiment on lower animals than humans?

They already have languages, their clicks are obviously modulated when you do frequency analysis. The sperm whale's ones are especially complex.

Do you understand they can't hear it? I had the spectrogram, but I can only find a low res version from my social media now. It's in my old computer.
