🗑️ 🧵 Psychopathic Geniuses

Anonymous No. 16193880

We are Psychopathic Geniuses.

Only 1/31,560 people have a 160+ IQ, and only 1% of the population has psychopathy. Assuming probabilistic independence, about 1/3,156,000 of the population satisfy both criteria, meaning there are only around 2,535 of us in the world. Are you one of us?

Every human interaction induces a game. The player who wants to win the most sets the rules. Affective empathy and other forms of neuroticism set the bar for your capacity to take action. This bar is concerningly low for most people, bordering on the self-sacrificial if not outright masochistic. In effect, when faced with a purely rational opponent, such a person can never win. No intelligence makes one impotent; no lack of affective empathy and other irrational biases makes one incapable of competing at the extremes. In this sense, psychopathic geniuses are the ideal people, a superior people.

We labor to create an engaging environment for such extraordinarily esoteric individuals—a place free from the impotence of the ordinary, a place free from the irrationality of neurotypicals. We may look friendly on the surface, but make no mistake—there are no lengths we won't go to if you piss us off.

Though this is spam, the point detached from the bait is interesting to think about. Rationality requires some duality - this guy vs this guy, me vs the universe etc. But to even maintain an identity you require some necessary naivety and delusion and perhaps when the fragility of this is seen it would be a good idea to keep the set of things you identify with as broad as possible.

Humans are informationally synesthetic, you can feel ideas and concepts with your whole body, and affective empathy is synaesthesia for relation and connection w.r.t your identity. You can see the pitfalls already in OP's (admittedly bait) writing:

> 'Affective empathy and other forms of neuroticism'
Notice he literally cannot differentiate the two, because he can only grok the latter

> 'In effect, when faced with a purely rational opponent, such a person can never win'
Notice how this doesn't say anything, as he assumes rationality to be 'the thing that makes the best decision'

> No intelligence makes one impotent
Notice how this doesn't say anything, as he assumes intelligence to be 'the most potent thing'

> no lack of affective empathy and other irrational biases makes one incapable of competing at the extremes
He again cannot conceive that the problem of defining 'one' or 'competition' as being the thing that is the competition, so he defines himself to be superior because nothing else seems to make sense from his frame of reference.

These circularities will go on and on until they eventually eat themselves. When the competition is defined to be partitioning himself, he'll angstily grow more and more accustomed to the compliment of himself, and somewhere down the line he'll forget which he's optimising for, let alone why.
