But what if I don't have ADHD and take ADHD medication? Will it damage my brain chemistry if this happens?

you need a doctor to judge if you have ADHD, i dunno where you live but I hear in america doctors are too hasty to prescribe them
thing is, if you don't have ADHD and take ADHD meds it won't damage you, but it will feel like drinking 10 cups of coffee in one second
if you have ADHD you will just feel normal

Another thing is that I'm afraid my brain will be dependent on the medication, like my attention span is short now but if I take ADHD meds routinely, then one day not take it, now my attention span will be 10x shorter and worse due to being dependent on the medication. Is this a possibility?

Best way to combat efficacy and dependence issues is to only take them during the work week. Or some other plan, but this has worked for me for a year.

>I have ADHD
Same, got diagnosed after graduating college, still got my degree in physics, but it makes perfect sense why I wasn't able to focus as well as I should have.

I don't take meds for it since strattera gave way too many side effects. I take 10,000iu of vitamin d3 with 18mg of iron byglycinate, both increase dopamine by a lot and build up in the brain. I take both together with water 1 hour before eating food. I used to fall asleep a lot throughout the day, I found out that it was because the blood vessels in my prefrontal cortex were tiny compared to the rest of my brain. Ginko biloba and vitamin e both dilate blood vessels, so I take 360mg or 540mg of vitamin e to allow blood flow smoothly, it feels good and keeps me awake. The Gaba from Lemon Balm helps out with sleep, so does 5mg of melatonin.

Try clonidine fast release instead of strattera or guanfacine if you have access to a doctor.

>doctors are too hasty to prescribe them
this hasn't been true for at least 10+ years.
doctors are far less likely to prescribe scheduled medications now than at any other time in history.
