Couple questions..
1. Is he the reason physics is stagnated?
2. His peers seem to think he is smarter than themselves by a larger margin. Is he actually smart on other stuff other than physics?

He seems to be pretty smart but he's morally corrupt. String theory in general is a good idea but his focus on "complex geometry" is an epistemological crime. "Complex numbers" were a mistake and will never be a basis for geometry.

Perelman, Terrence Tao or Andrew Wiles is a better sticky than this guy. At least we can be sure they contributed positively to science and math. This guy was a literal who that were shilled by the greedy bastard eric weistein.

I dont know what string theory is. I saw a lecture on that by Leonard Susskind and i already forgot everything. Is it just epicycles? Yeah i figure in a space with so many dimensions you have room for more wacky stuff.
Kaluza-Klein was my first exposure to the use of higher dimensions to have more general theories, dont know what happened to that
