I've always been able to grasp the gist of mathematical concepts thus far but that's not cutting it anymore. I'm conversant with the theory but apparently I suck at actually solving problems. I need firm practical knowledge.
Are there any books that cut the theoretical fluff and just give you a bunch of "algorithms" for solving problems?
You know, "step one: do this; step two: do that;...,etc."?
