Should I pursue PhD from Computer Science or should I start doing Bachelor's degree in mathematics if I don't want to end up jobless and I enjoy both and would like to work in academia for some time?

academia will die in the next 10 years. prepare for that.

this.

i genuinely don't give a shit. I am completely aware of the fact that soon all white collar jobs along with academia will be replaced. All I want is to prove to myself that I can do this shitty PhD and Bachelor's, even if it's useless.

will probably end up like that, however I'd like to study a little bit more

Do Both!
Get BS in Mathematics and CS, then go graduate work in either subject.

Do what you want. Worst case you take the Ph.D and find some job in industry, it's not impossible as much as retards here like to make it out. You should be aware though that a Ph.D is about doing research and not taking classes. I have known a lot of people who were really good at just learning things, but couldn't produce research, try to get into some kind of research if you're coming from an undergrad or masters program though. Also, yes there will be some sacrifice involved in terms of income; however, most people who are doing a Ph.D can live with this. Lastly, network, network, network like any other field. Unfortunately kissing ass in this world is worth it to get opportunities and jobs. Go to conferences, present your work, talk to other computer scientists or mathematicians etc.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking about too. However I just graduated with masters in computer science, that’s why I’m a bit confused about whether I should go for PhD right now or do Bachelors in math.

I am aware of that, I just don’t know which one would be more „profitable” in the future, and I don’t want to waste most of my life on something that would be automatized anyway
