Are we experiencing global cooling? I'm in Texas and am having milder than usual weather for this time of year. Well, it's a bit more hectic, but not as hot as it should be.

the more heat in the atmosphere, the more chaotic patterns might appear.
There is also the polar vortex divergence issue, but I don't think that was the case right now.
