No it doesn't, the scientific evidence show that smoking has no long term negative health impacts for people who quit smoking before they're about 40 years old. Its the propaganda that which says it always leads to cancer.

not really, the increase in cancer is quite small unless you smoke multiple packs of cigarettes per day. smoking should be banned in public cause it's disgusting to smoke the crap that are coming from other people's mouths and noses.
the one thing that should be banned hard is marijuana. not only it is disgusting it is also quite much more harmful than cigarettes. if marijuana is being legalized I don't see why cigarettes should be permabanned, they have some good mental effects (a nootropic) and are much less harmful than marijuana
