What are your thoughts on this book? It’s short but seems comprehensive at first glance.

The other alternative is the free book by Keisler but that one is 1000 pages.

Do proofs. Find the definition of a derivative, think of real world examples such as velocity, acceleration, etc. Now think of what the integral would mean. Prove that the derivatice of ln(x) = 1/x as well as derivative of x = 1 etc. Prove that certain functions aren't continuous. Any book will suffice, but you have to do problems like those I mentioned.
Hard mode:
Find an unsolved problem (even Goldbach's Conjecture can teach you things). Try to prove it. You'll learn things no one else even thinks of.

This is for building true intuition btw.

>think of real world examples
That's not good advice unless the person prefers that. Pure mathematicians hate applied mathematics. Physics is a limitation imposed upon mathematics

In a similar sense that real life is a limitation imposed upon WoW

you gotta start somewhere. Fooling around with the math leads straight into physical absurdities that still make mathematical sense, and from there you could choose how far off the rails you want to go

what did reality limit about that signal?
