Speaking of AGI, philosophically and psychologically how many of these would be needed to flesh out a good and intelligent AI.

Perception: Nemo sees an unknown, scary-looking person approaching its owner
Input: The owner shouts loudly and waves her arms around
Memory and Personality: Nemo remembers that he is very protective of his owner, and that he’s fearless when the owner is under threat.
Reasoning: Nemo should go and protect his owner quickly
Plan: Nemo will go and bite the threat
Ethics: Nemo knows biting people is bad
Criticism: Nemo could get hurt
Action: Nemo will attack and bite the threat protecting himself and his owner

Dilemma:
Cultural:
Value:
Dialectical:
Paradox:

Unironically AI needs to be programmed with the concept of God as its core so that it has something to fall back on for major decisions. This helps add an extra layer of morality in case it does one day deicide to say "fuck these humans"

Christians eat beef and muslims and jews do not love their neighbors
God is an abstract idea people fall into due to the existential nature of existence, creation, scale, and intelligence.
I mean before it was such a deep philosophical concept people would think of nature as divine.
And even though the wrath of God could still put us back into the stone age humans are just not impressed by that stuff anymore.

The going ons of invidiuals subscribed to organised religions is not the same thing as the concept of a singular source of truth regarding all things moral. You're incorrectly supposing the idea of God inevitably leads to catastrophe. It's human nature that does that.

The reason people thought of nature as divine is because nature was revealed as a divine creation.
