I really like the look and feel of the Starliner capsule, but sticking it on top of Atlas Centaur will never not feel like a kludge to me.

It is five years late and costs about 3x per launch. SpaceX has launched 50 people over the last five years and was on the second round of NASA crew contracts before Boeing managed their first one. Plus it still needs to land, and the parachutes and heat shield is questionable
