if you're a drinker, stop drinking.
if you're not a drinker, start drinking.

Try to become a polyphasic sleeper. Stay awake for 4.5h, then sleep 1.5h.

sleep elsewhere. Listen to music. Cool down the room, turn on the tv but don't watch it.

Get a fan? I sleep a million times easier in a breeze.
Alternatively you could learn self-hypnosis. Hypnosis doesn't put you asleep on its own, but trance is relaxing as fuck and you can basically use it to turn off racing thoughts and relax your body so conking out is easier.
Alternatively, chugging caffeine right before going to bed will help your sleep be more restful as long as you're out before it kicks in if your issue is waking up tired. But that shit's high risk high reward since if you aren't out before it kicks in it will keep you awake.

understand them first.
sleep study
or just make a jounal of when you fall asleep and try to find the pattern.
you have to push past frustration of boredom to tell your brain to sleep.

I only use diphenhydramine sparingly. I took 50mg last night and was absolutely zonked after 20 minutes because I hadn't been sleeping well the past week.

Is the problem not felling into sleep, or waking up constantly? For the first option, I would use forced felling asleep technique. For the second option, I would use cannabis.
