No, but midwits think it does. In reality multiverse would imply many "failed universes" that were still "alive". Much like cloning leaves many failures both still born and living monsters that beg for death. All these options MUST BE out puts of a brute force approach to achieve perfection. No matter if you seek the perfect clone or perfect universe. Lack of monster universes is a clue but on basic logic it fails many tests and is just more wild ideas of childish physicists.
