I bet it was hotter than now during or after 1956. If you know, you know.

We have data on the effects of so2 emissions on retracting light and cooling the planet. Can't believe anyone is surprised by this considering the eu and us are using diesel fuel instead of bunker oil. It also give us good starting point for geoengineering projects.

It means that we have been collected such data from at least 1981 and it reached a peak at some unspecified moment in time.

Oceanographers have already said they believe this is due to an increase in activity of underwater volcanoes and it's not possible for atmospheric warming to have warmed the oceans this much in such a short period of time. But you know, they're stupid oceanographers, what do they know about oceans that your average antifa activist doesn't know?

We can also take proxy data to see how the oceans have warmed prior to 1981. One of the best is sea ice extent which give approximate ocean temperature data. Sea ice extent is easily measured because airborn dust cannot collect under sea ice. So taking core samples from the arctic gives you very decent climate proxy data. Since the start of the Holocene (approximately 12,000 years ago) sea ice extent has been pretty stable. Since the start of the industrial revolution it has shrunk drastically from 6.5 million square kilometers to 4.2 million square kilometers. That is absolutely devastating and cannot be explained by anything natural.

Phrasing your post as a question indicates you're uncertain about your point and want to start with it being truth that others have to disprove. Just state what you want to say and leave the rhetoric games to the college debate club.
