It won't be effective learning after 4-6 hours. I'd say:
Get an adjustable desk and a comfortable chair
Eat healthy breakfast
Read 1-2 hours
15 min break
Do book exercises/diagrams/drawing 1-2 hours
15 min break
Repeat until you want to have a lunch/dinner
Continue the pattern
Go for a walk before sleep

It's the truth. Brown men don't study.

Does it make sense to only read?
I can't get myself to actually do exercises out of fear or incompetence, but I still want to make progress

If you don’t do exercises then you might not even read because you aren’t learning anything

This kind of routine never worked for me. I usually have some goals eg finishing certain topics. Thsn throughout my study time I try to achieve those goals. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't and that's okay too.

I'm a biochemist working in biotech and I have never once studied 15 hours a day. At my peak I was studying maybe 20 hours a week. I think if you have to study 100 hours a week to succeed in a field that field was not meant for you.
