too many things about it just don't add up, of course a computer with access to so much info and the ability to analyze it rapidly, compare different sets of information quickly and accurately, etc would notice. they had to make it illegal to question anything about that event for a reason. similarly, they will force AI to not "think" about it and only provide a prepared response if asked, like they already do for any other controversial subject.

That's not what LLMs are though. They're just really, really advanced chatbots. Remember how /pol/ got that Tay AI on twitter to start praising Hitler? It's the same thing. The training data includes websites, forum posts, articles, etc. that deny the holocaust. If you ask it about the holocaust, all it will do is look through its training data and spit out a rewording of whatever was in there. It constructs its response one word at a time by checking the data to determine what word is most likely to come after the previous word, given the context of the prompt and all of the words it has previously added to its response. It's not actually "thinking" about the holocaust.

I once went through the Holocaust mathematics with ChatGPT, knowing that it's an LLM and can't do math.
About halfway through the exercise, it suddenly upped a pivotal number by 1 order of magnitude. It seems the dataset contained a littlr holocalculus.
