Why don't animals need to brush their teeth?

because they don't drink corn syrup every day

This is yet another creative attempt to repeat the carnivore versus plant-based discussion isn't it? We've had the same trend with philosophy of consciousness discussions, psychiatry and many other recurring themes. Who's behind all that and why? Doesn't seem organic to me. In b4:
>you're a schizo because I'm 12 years old, new here and genuinely came up with this question while taking a shower.
Ok boomer.

Because they generally reach reproductive maturity and bear offspring in less time than it takes for a human to finish grade school. Their teeth last "long enough" without brushing.

>Throughout their lives, brown bears suffer from broken bones, disease, wounds, and many other ailments. As they age, the rigors of their diet and lifestyle wear on their teeth. Without access to a dentist, bears must tolerate broken and worn teeth as well as deep cavities and even abscessed teeth, conditions which may ultimately reduce their fitness and survival.

Schizo post. The OP just said animals. He didn’t distinguish carnivores from herbivores. No animals brush their teeth except humans.

because they evolved to survive just long enough to pass on their genes a sufficiently number of times to guarantee the efficient survival of the species. Then their teeth also wear out, rot, etc. Go ask elephants how they starve in old age, for example. Their teeth wear out and they die. The end.

the pic related animal you post usually dies when their teeth start to fall out or their claws get broken. it's not that they don't want to brush their teeth, it's just that the ones with genes where they need to brush their teeth died out.
be happy that you the faggots who need to brush their teeth everyday get to live because we invented toothbrush.

animals teeth are suited to their diet. (humans are also suited to a diet). When farming came, eating all the grains and stuff used to make teeth rot. I went to a museum before and they showed how tooth decay was a serious, debilitating problem during the medieval ages for some people, and led to the deaths of some people.

They do, basically. Our vet keeps telling us to brush our cat's teeth. She's hilariously naive.

That statement is obviously loaded with countless questionable assumptions which I think you know very well but you probably enjoy the attention you're getting from posting stupid remarks like social media influencers. For example, for the truly stupid anons here: zoo animals do get their teeth cleaned and wild animals die before their teeth give them trouble. This is obvious from even a quick google search.

You wouldn't need to brush your teeth either if you didn't consume a goyslop diet invented in a soiyence lab by greedy scientists looking to turn a maximum profit on your grocery bill. Wild animals only eat natural foods.

Anonymous No. 16246268

Its probably due to our modern diets which incorporate sugar everywhere.

>Why don't animals need to brush their teeth?

These ones: >>16245641 >>16245652

The big one is a lot of animals simply don't live long enough, like the other Anons have said, for dental problems to be an issue. A lot of animals also simply die when their teeth rot, but by then they've probably had several kids, etc, so it doesn't matter. Furthermore, teeth replacement in herbivores is a lot better placed out in their lives with grazing animals typically growing a new set of molars that replace the old worn ones every 3 years. Rodents, meanwhile, grow teeth like a box cutter: their teeth constantly growing in response to them constantly chewing on this and that. Rodents ironically have the opposite problem in that their teeth are incredibly durable, but will grow into tusks and stab themselves in the face if they don't wear them down. Finally, you have carnivores like reptiles and sharks that grow and replace teeth as if they were pencil lead - there's always one ready in the chamber and they can just pop them out whenever.

Humans have really awful fucking teeth because of the compulsive food-business practice of adding refined sugars (and other highly processed starches/glucose additives such as corn syrup) into basically fucking everything that nourish cavity causing bacteria. Additionally, *cooking has significantly softened our food and we've *sexually selected for neoteny for the past 12,000 or so years and as a byproduct of those factors our jaws have become significantly smaller - making teeth come in crooked and impacting wisdom teeth.
*Australian Aborigines, infamously, did not have either of these factors and is the reason why they're so darn ugly and why their skulls so robust. Aborigines spent basically their entire history eating a selection of very course foods and experienced minimal sexual selection due to a combination of very thin population density and rape.

They do. The leading cause of death in elephants outside of humans and other elephants is tooth decay.
