Do any of you post here from University wifi? Is it risky? I don't wanna get on the admins shitlist but I'm severely mentally ill and 4chan is the only place I like to socialize

What do you mean? Are NEETs and trades known for mental well-being?

Don't ever do that. The IT staffs will definitely notice that. Don't browse or post this place from uni or work.

Assume they can, given most universities network setups have that ability.
Assume they log and track everything.
Assume they also don't give a fuck about what you and the thousands of other students are doing - not until the authorities come a calling.
Time to use a VPN friendo (if the university doesn't restrict them).

Nobody cares, OP. Your university's OIS is too busy dealing with constant network attacks and older faculty clicking on phishing and malware links to worry about what you fap to or how many times you say 'nigger' on a Scandinavian interpretive dance forum.

If your university wifi requires you to trust their CA certificate like mine did then you're fucked. They force you to go through a man in the middle proxy and can decrypt all your traffic.

Is janny on vacation? I usually get banned for a month for these kind of posts

I went to uni 15 years ago and the entire campus was blocked from 4chan because the campus was just one IP that subnetted or whatever (permabanned by 4chan, not the campus, because a student must have posted no-nos in the past).
But, I was in CS and knew people who worked in campus IT. Yes, because you have to login with your school ID, they can theoretically see everywhere you go. Didn't stop me from watching fat chick orgies and whatnot.
I don't see any reason to be scared of posting here on a school network. No one cares.

Assume that anything you post on a public network will be read by a third party. That said, no one will realistically bother reading your logs unless you give them a reason to.
