They also made the first computer. Most of the achievements made by the Germans in that time frame are credited to random people from allied countries, because it is easier to pretend for example, that a gay British man invented computers, than admit that this is yet another history changing technology pioneered by people who wanted Hitler to win WWII.

First programming language too, and it was array based like APL. But Turing was a genius, despite being a faggot pedo.

It was called Plankalkul and it was intellectually laundered through the European allies into Algol post-WWII.

>i don't think you understand how scientific research works
It doesn't matter how scientific research works, we are discussing history and how history is written. Konrad Zuse (the guy who invented combinatorics and computers) was a nazi. His goal in building computers was to help the Luftwaffe make better planes. If they had won the war, he'd be a household name (and probably have spent the rest of his life making computing technology for the Luftwaffe). For political reasons, people like to pretend that actually Alan Turing did it.
People try to write lies into history all the time for all kinds of reasons. This is particularly bad in CS history, where lies have been canonized into the history people are taught. The most famous lie being the absurd idea that Ada Lovelace was the first programmer, which would require you to believe that Lovelace somehow wrote a program for Babbage's machine before Babbage did.

Except no one does that. It's not a secret whatsoever that Konrad Zuse thought of the first programmable computer. The first programmable computer actually built was the Manchester Baby, built in the UK.

Everyone outside of US+UK+Aus knows this. It's just that Anglo's get taught all kinds discrediting bullshit about German scientific and technological achievements from 1880-1945 that persists to this day to the point where people have written books about this phenomenon while at the same time obsessing over Nazi Wunderwaffe myths and making 200 documentaries about it.

It isn't just simple lues, basically all recent history is narrated from the schizo perspective
Gattaca is an allegory of the schizo, who needs to perfectly immitate the instinct of the animal (that he considers normal people to be) , hide his smell, his poor senses and so on, so that he can murder it. But a single slip and the animal kills him instead.

the problem is that we don't have a universally agreed upon definition of inventions or inventors. Who invented the telephone? Was it the person who thought about talking to others over long distances, but used some obscure technology? Was it the person who actually built the first telephone that worked similarly to our modern telephones? Or was it the person that made them actually usable and mass produced them, making them available for the public?
Depending on your definition, it could either be a Frenchman, a German, or a Brit. And guess what? Coincidentally, Brits use a different definition for "inventor" than Germans. It's all cherry picking.
