Unironically, nothing of value was lost.

Not only was nothing lost, America also avoided the mistake of allowing a large group of nerds that were good at math the opportunity to waste their lives massaging their delusional egos and narcissistic personality disorders and posing as the soience genius meme while devoting their lives to publishing useless schizobabble that nobody would ever read, instead they had to go into engineering and get real jobs doing something useful with their lives.

They ended up in fintech and adtech instead. Humanity would have been better off if they stayed in that hole in Texas, out of the hands of the MBAs that have weaponized them against us.

imagine how much better off we'd all be if the deeply insecure showoffy egotists who feel driven to prove how smart they are had no means of doing so other than making themselves legitimately useful instead of wasting ever increasing fortunes of other people's money on ridiculous useless pseudo-scientific boondoggles like JWST and LHC

Political red tape aside, a lot of the administrative problems could've been avoided if Maury Tigner wasn't such an uncompromising sperg.
Like, yeah dude, sometimes you gotta work with people outside of your nerd clique. Fucking deal with it.

nerds should all forced to be engineers, their "scientist" research projects never produce anything worthwhile.

It is, nothing of any use or value has been created by that massive boondoggle, all its done is drive the European middle classes further towards poverty by greedily justifying massive taxation, thats it's lone accomplishment.

dumbass.
you might not know this but 90% of them ended up being in finances and compsci leeching off society instead of creating scientific breakthroughs to sustain civilization for the next hundred years.
unironically the downfall of the america empire is because the tranny boomer forgo hard sciences and focus on "muh money" instead.

colliding particles is a real job retard, it produces work by building it, maintaining it, using it for research, meanwhile you sit on your ass with your soft hands funneling money into your pockets from the goyim and ZAP one day a magnetic wave takes it all away, and what do you have left? you could have had a particle collider to restart modern physics, but instead you have literally nothing except that gold you bought thinking you would trade it for cattle, instead someone with harder hands followed you home, waited for you to reveal your gold stash, and shot you in the head
kill yourself, just like the rest of professionals who will all end up hanging from trees sooner or later
you poison our water

JWST - 1
LHC - 0

BAHAHAHA, you do realize CERN is an international organization that has many Americans in its ranks, right? Like airplanes and the internet both exist. Also, the LHC was partly funded by the US. And the initial cost of the LHC was 4.75B while the US War on Drugs is an annual 39B with a total cost of ~1T adjusted for inflation...extremely useful indeed, Mr. Utilitarian. I'm sure the average American enjoys funding that bill.
Let that not detract that there are plenty of "useless" science projects outside of JWST and LHC that the US funds keeping the very-good-at-math theoreticians quite "comfy".
Seethe more *snickers* engineer.
On a side note, I fully support sending arms to Ukraine.
