While anon was stupid to claim he'd never published anything I must point out he's not published anything of consequence to the field of study. A large majority of the studies he's listed on he's a contributor and often the last name listed in a long list of names. Meaning he probably did some easy math or busy work on the project to get credit. Or they just put him on anyways because muh equality.

The most recent research paper he was even mentioned in as contributing was 2008, again as a minor player it seems. Nearly 15 years ago. He has only FIVE research papers where he is listed as the main author, one was his thesis I believe. They span from 1988-1993 and seem like fluff papers that mean nothing to anyone, busy work. So Neil hasn't done original science since 1993. That's about 32 years ago and literally last century. One of the papers is about how to set up your camera for astro photography.

I just skimmed his 5 listed papers. One is basically just a follow up to an earlier paper and copy and pastes the original paper plus a few paragraphs extra and a conclusion that says "we observed data that shows we may have been right" So there two of the five papers are basically just one paper with a minor update. The original paper is only 3.5 pages long.

In reality he's only written 4 original papers, one about getting good "twilight flats" on your telescope CCD which no doubt is out dated info of use to no one. That comes to 24 pages total, that's all he has to show for a lifetime of science. That page count is padded with graphs, footnotes, math equations, tables, and many other things. If all the words were condensed I doubt it would be ten pages of text even.

I looked it up and he has almost no citations of those papers he was the main author. Between 15-20 minor citations and one influential one. Some of the papers he was listed last on had thousands of citations. So let's be real about the facts on the ground. What ever "science" he did do was little and worthless. If it meant something it would have citations and I bet if I looked those citations would be even more bullshit. Most of his published work is nothing more than fluff for magazines or articles.
