Obviously not, because they themselves will not even admit to the truth.
Your habits play a huge role: wrinkles form when skin bends, and the more you talk and express emotions, the more your skin must bend around the corners of the mouth, on your forehead, around the corner of your eyes, etc. So if you're a professional singer on stage, or just someone who is constantly socializing with others, talking smiling, etc, you're constantly stretching and creasing your skin in all those places. If you're a loner introvert nerd just reading the internet at home, none of that ever happens.
Then there is sunlight, The more sunlight you get, the more the collagen gets destroyed, the less the skin if flexible, and also uneven tonality begins to show, and the more skin blotching occurs.
And, obviously, like with everything else, genetics plays a role.
